Office of the City Building Official

Mandate

The Office of the Building Official enforces the National Building Code of the Philippines (PD 1096) in the City of Tayabas — reviewing building plans, conducting site inspections, and issuing Building, Occupancy, and related permits to ensure safe, sanitary, and code-compliant construction throughout the city.

Safeguard the life, health and property of the City of Tayabas through enforcement of the National Building Code of the Philippines (PD 1096); provide engineering assistance to the City Government of Tayabas and the citizens of the area
